When buying basa look for a light firm texture that is moist, white in colour with no brown markings.
Frozen basa from Coles’ seafood department should be stored in the fridge in either an airtight container or well wrapped on a plate or tray. Cook and eat within 3 days of purchase.
Ensure the fish is fully thawed before cooking, and do not re-freeze.
